Subscribing a user to a Mailchimp list on registration

Getting your users who register on your WordPress site into your Mailchimp audience can be achieved with the WP User Manager registration forms and Mailchimp addon.

Once the Mailchimp addon has been downloaded and installed, navigate to Users > Mailchimp to see the settings. You will need to enter your Mailchimp API key and save the changes to the access your lists.

Click ‘Add List’ to connect one of your Mailchimp lists (know as audiences in Mailchimp) to WP User Manager:

You can then choose how new users will be added to that list when they register on your site. The optin method has two options:

  1. Automatically add users to a Mailchimp list when they register.
  2. Allow users to opt-in to subcribing to a Mailchimp list when they register.

If you choose the second option, a checkbox will appear on your registration form to allow the users to confirm subscription:

You can customize the text used for the confirmation checkbox in the list settings:

If you have multiple lists connected, you can allow you users to choose between them at registration time:
